I know despair is a part of life,
I know its a valley with a cliff beyond,
But when I sink down into its depths,
I just forget that its just a dive!

what does the fourth line mean "I just forget that its just a dive!"
A dive is like a dip that you'd normally just rise up from; and not sink down :)
